SENIOR UX/UI DESIGNER
JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to design visually captivating and user-centric websites that capture the vision of high-end fashion brands. This role involves designing wireframes, interactive prototypes, information architecture, and UI components such as layouts, buttons, and navigation while working closely with the client to understand their brand’s essence, story, and goals. You will take full ownership of the design process, from concept to execution, designing highly converting websites that showcase the exclusivity of luxury fashion brands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Client Discovery – Conduct meetings with clients to understand their brand vision, luxury positioning, and digital objectives.
Develop and Refine Website Concepts – Create wireframes and user flows to establish the website structure. Get client approvals at each stage, including layout design, UI components, and navigation flow.
Information Architecture – Structure website content, define sitemaps, and establish user flows to create a seamless navigation experience.
Designing & Prototyping – Develop interactive prototypes to showcase the user experience. These designs should be fully aligned with the brand’s identity and optimized for usability.
User Testing & Iteration – Conduct testing across devices, such as A/B testing, usability testing, and prototype testing, to gather feedback and refine designs for optimal performance on all platforms.
Final Design & Handoff – Finalize the website design and create a comprehensive design system with all necessary assets. Ensure clear communication of design specifications and collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless implementation across all platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on designing high-end websites, ideally for fashion or luxury brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in creating websites for real brands, ideally for fashion brands.
- Expertise in wireframing, interactive prototyping, and UI design for premium digital experiences.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision, with strong knowledge of information architecture and user flows.
- Proven ability to design user-centric websites that are both visually engaging and highly functional, with a focus on conversion optimization.
- Experience conducting user testing, including A/B testing and usability testing, to iterate and improve designs based on data-driven feedback.
- Strong understanding of brand consistency and ability to ensure designs reflect the luxury aesthetic and messaging of fashion brands.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate design concepts, strategies, and rationale to clients and stakeholders.

WORKING DETAILS & COMPENSATION
This is a long-term, project-based role where you will take on projects as Near partners with high-end fashion brands. Compensation will be provided per project, with generous rates that reflect the complexity and scope of the work. You will have the flexibility to take on independent projects when Near is not handling a client but you will be expected to prioritize and dedicate your expertise to delivering high-quality work whenever a new client comes on board at Near.
